PLEASE, PLEASE I beg of you, in future games we need different backgrounds, to keep the game interesting. I do have a complaint though, I have about 7 tanks now, all gold cups, but with the same background in each of those tanks, which is making me lose interest in this game. Even if all they do is add a no timer option, I'll buy it though, because that is what annoys me the most.įirst I want to say that I love all of the Fishdom games, and I do appreciate the fact that there are more items, to decorate with, that part for this game was well done.
I for one don't see myself paying for the Harvest or Christmas version if it is just a straight reskin of Spooky Splash. Let us have the different match 3 backgrounds as tank backgrounds. I can understand only having the single set of fish and ornaments, but there are multiple backgrounds for the match 3 boards, so why the heck can't we get different backgrounds for our tanks? There is only a single background for the tank. While this allows larger match 3 boards, I've noticed eye strain. Original Fishdom used 45x45 this one uses 40x40. The game is extremely similar to the original Fishdom. This game is similar to Fishdom of course, as well as Unwell Mel and Amazonia.įishdom: Spooky Splash starts off pretty easy and gets progressively harder as you advance through the levels. You can also make several aquariums which adds more replay value. Game is timed with no untimed mode, but the timers are usually pretty generous. This is a great game and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys that type of game! Gameplay is as good and addicting as you would expect from Fishdom, solid match three with some challenging levels and the power up bombs, fireworks, and dynamite to help you get through them. The graphics are really good and you can use your aquarium that you create in the game as a screensaver, which definitely helps motivate you to make a great looking setup. The game levels are also filled with ghosts, pumpkins, and other spooky items to match as well as the usual clams and sealife you are familiar with from the basic game. Just in time for Halloween comes Fishdom: Spooky Splash! All the same kind of match three style fun you expect from Fishdom, but now you can make your tank as eerie as you like with jack o’ lanterns, skeletons, strangely spooky plants, and various other Halloween themed additions.
